New Music: The Roots – ‘How I Got Over’
The Roots learn a lesson from the streets on “How I Got Over,” the first single from their 11th album of the same name due this fall. The band debuted the song on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” last month.

this sounds nothing like the version they did on fallon. they had SO much more energy and in this version is seems so washed down. its still a good track but the energy from the live performance was not captured.

The Roots are known to have amazing live preformances. Ive loved songs by them and loved them even more when hearing them live.
The song is hot tho. Cant wait for the album
