Rap-Up.com || Video: Mariah Carey Performs on ‘Today’

Mariah Carey brought sunshine (and Nick Cannon) to an otherwise gloomy day in NYC on Friday (Oct. 2). She performed “Obsessed,” “I Want to Know What Love Is,” “H.A.T.E.U.,” and “Make It Happen” for fans who gathered in Rockefeller Plaza for the “Today” show concert series.

Mariah can still sing! She has a few problems with her high register though…probably didn’t help that she was outside and it was early morning!! Mc herself is probably devastated with the fact that she can’t hit certain notes on a regular. Anyway…love her and her music!!!

She does have an amazing voice… in the studio. ‘Make It Happen’ was the best sounding one… you can hear when they turn up her vocal track to save her from sounding a hot mess. I love Mariah but come on… this is FRAUD.

I like MC but the only song she did ok on was i wanna know was love is which some parrts wastnt live to me……..make it happen was painful to watch…….obsessed was very painful to watch……..hate u was boring but ok.

Considering it was EARLY in the morning Mariah did the best she could, which is amazing. I hope she rest her voice. It’s known that when she takes breaks and comes back her voice is usually better than before. I love the new album by the way :-)!

Mariah’s getting old, you can literally tell because she can’t rock that outfit. Sorry!! But she has an amazing voice but she’s getting old and needs to rock what these old people are rocking because she just looks so sos sos sosososo sosos sos desperate!!!!!!!!

@BETDABESS, She still looks really good…yeah she has gained some weight but who cares. So she should be rockin what most 39 year olds wear or maybe what 45 & 50 year olds wear…like Whitney and Madonna??? I’m pretty sure most female singers MCs age rock the same type ish she’s wearing here :) …it’s one of her less revealing outfits.
