Bono and Rihanna

“Enough of this moping, man, let’s rebuild Haiti, let’s show ’em how we do it where we come from!” proclaimed Wyclef Jean after singing “Rivers of Babylon” with a Haitian flag around his neck.

The Haitian-born singer and dozens of other stars aligned to help raise millions of dollars for the earthquake-stricken country during Friday’s “Hope for Haiti Now: A Global Benefit for Earthquake Relief” telethon. Beyoncé, Jay-Z, U2, Rihanna, and Coldplay gathered in London, while Madonna, Shakira, Jennifer Hudson, and John Legend performed live from Los Angeles and New York.
