Lil Wayne Barred From Signing Autographs in Jail

Lil Wayne

Lil Wayne won’t have to worry about being pestered for autographs in jail. Officials have enacted a no-autograph policy for Weezy while he does his time.

The Correction Officer’s Benevolent Association tells TMZ that a no-autograph policy has been put into effect during the rapper’s stint behind bars. “Lil Wayne is not a celebrity in here,” says the rep.

Although he may be accustomed to a lavish lifestyle, Weezy won’t be getting preferential treatment nor has he requested any at Rikers Island.

On Monday, the “A Milli” MC began serving his year-long sentence on attempted gun possession charges, but could be released in as soon as eight months for good behavior.

    That’s not even cool, yo. Gun control is a good thing. I’m a huuuuge fan of Wayne and hate it that he’s in jail, but he broke the law, which no one should be above.

    Stay strong, Wayne.

    @BowChickaWahWah:

    The State of New York is breaking the SUPREME LAW OF THE LAND (the Constiution)-the Second Amendment guarantees the right to what he’s doing!

    You say gun control is a good thing…well, Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin, Pol Pot, Khadafi, Amin, and the rest of these dictators thought the same thing (that’s why that was the first thing they all enacted once they came to power).

    Before you say it reduces the crime rate-states which respect the Second Amendment have much LOWER murder rates than states with restrictive laws…

    The DC gun law was declared unconstitutional by the Supreme Court-the NY one will be too!

    so Burmy you’re telling me my choices are either a) I get a free Lil Wayne or b) i get gun control so tight I feel like I moved to Japan?

    can I lock him up myself? I mean I liked 500 Degreez and “Go DJ” was my anthem back in the day. Heck I even liked “Leather So Soft”, but Lil Wayne is not oxygen. I’ll be okay without him.

    You spew all the nonsense about dictators you want. Heck I’ll spew back more nonsense about real world societies that don’t have rampant guns to counter but, whether you’re for or against, Lil Wayne shouldn’t be changing your mind unless he’s you’re Daddy in which case you have my condolences.

    Damn, Is everything Obama’s fault?? Starting to sound like the Bush haters of a year ago in here….
    How about staying on topic? Or are you so flustered about Obama’s Presidency that you can’t?
    When Mike Tyson went to jail, they did the same thing. Stating that prisoners could not have items of monetary value. Or in other words, go to jail, get an autograph of another prisoner and profit from the sale of the autograph, or profiting because you were in jail. I’m sure that was Obama’s fault too. Turn off FOX and get a life. The BOI-1da said it!
