Rap-Up.com || Sneak Peek: Kelis – ’4th of July (Fireworks)’

Kelis leaves us thirsty for more with the 30-second preview for “4th of July (Fireworks),” the second single from her new album Flesh Tone. The clip, co-directed by Kelis, was shot in the desert near Los Angeles and features her new red ’do and numerous wardrobe changes. The video premieres June 16.

She looks really good in this video. The more and more I hear this song the more I love it and I’ve been playing it out for over a month now. July 6th cannot come fast enough. I am sooooooo gonna buy 2 or 3 copies of “Flesh Tone.”

NIIICE. I like the whole “mirage” effect and the dress makes it look even cooler. And of course, she’s ahead of the game. Them other broads are still playing catch up, Lady Gaga included.
