The title of Fantasia’s new song may echo her current sentiments about life. The “American Idol” champ, who’s had a rough week, sings about what happens when the spark goes out in a relationship. The soulful joint gets a helping hand from Cee-Lo Green, who rolls through with a smooth verse.
@DRB Everyone handles their situations differently. Some people will have a close person in their life die and will still go to work the next day, because they want to take their mind off of things or some people will take an extended break because they can’t cope with a situation. I remember when my grandfather passed away, my grandma didn’t cry until two months later because she didn’t have the time to mourn, because of all the family drama. Because Tasia is so sensitive, I think it’s best that she get back to work. There’s no telling what she’ll do to herself again if she’s just sitting at home. Anyway the album is only a week and a half away from being released so it’s kind of too late to put things on hold. The album is already in a retailer’s hand and pushing the album back would make her have to go back into the studio and record another album. The album is ready to go.
Fantasia will deliver another R&B classic like her first two albums. Her 2nd album is my favorite though.
yea people wonder why Janet went back to filming right during the death of MJ…people do handle things differently.
As for this song..it’s definitely hot n should be a single in my opinion…much better than the modern man of house track. Plus she will give some great live performances.

Most people who try to kill themselves don’t immediately go back to filming TV shows or keep ‘leaking’ new songs do they?

@DRB how do you know she was responsible for leaking it, if it was leaked. . . Stop with the negative shit. Every artist needs support.
I can’t wait for the album as well, love her soulful voice.

My point was, for most people, everything would be put on hold and pushed back. Not her.

Love IT, i like that it has a 90′s hip hop & Rnb vibe to it, and it really takes me back when hip hop was at its peak IMO
