Keyshia Cole takes a look in the mirror on the cover of her fourth album Calling All Hearts, in stores December 21. With her auburn hair hanging down, the soul songstress strikes a pensive pose with blue lips accented with a red heart. The album features a duet with Tank, plus the Nicki Minaj-assisted single “I Ain’t Thru” and ballad “Long Way Down.” She will perform the latter on Monday’s “Tonight Show with Jay Leno.”
Do you ♥ Keyshia’s album cover?

Not feeling it. Ive loved every Keysh album cover so far. The playful-like colors, over the subtle picture is an unflattering contrast.
It also screams more Kelis than Keysh. Still LOVE them both though!! :)

[...] Rap-Up gets the first look at Keyshia Cole‘s album cover for her upcoming album Calling All Hearts. The cover shows a dolled up Miss Cole peering into an dainty mirror. The heart and color on her lips are a good touch, but I think it takes away from the sophistication of the cover. On the cover, the soul songstress favors Kelis. I like the cover. The blue lips effect looks cool to me for some reason. I am so ready for some new Keyshia Cole music. December 21st is going to be a good day with her and Keri Hilson dropping.

Even though I believe Keyshia Cole is a very photogenic personality, I believe this cover for “Calling All Hearts” is watering down her artistic expression. The little heart symbol and blue lipstick does nothing but distract the viewer from her beauty; without a doubt Cole has strong facial features: a chiseled jawline, light skin that is a dream and a beautiful (new) smile. But, the portrait, as if she’s reflecting back from the past, suites her “Different Me” era better. <3

I don’t like but I don’t hate it. She’s trying to be abstract by putting the heart on her lips. And I get that. But I think she could do a little better with the cover though. I picture something totally different in my mind.

The cover just reminds me of how youthful and young the album is going to be, but I don’t think that’s how it’s going to sound. Maybe if the font wasn’t a sans-serif then maybe I’d have a different attitude towards the album.

I personally think it would look a thousand times better without the title and her name… Like if she did a Kanye West / CuDi-esque them too it with just her as the cover. No need to put the fancy words up there. That’s just me though. I think it would tell more of a story and the it would make the blue lipstick and heart make more sense, or at least make it not so much going on.

This looks very ghetto to me. All her other album covers have gotten classier as her career has progressed but this…eh, she should revise this.

I dont like her new material. Its not hot enough to be a single.. If she releases the album like it is now.. its going to fail horribly. Scrap everything and start again.. I know you can do better than this…

well i love the color of the hair that is on point…but what throws me off is the lip color and the little heart their….i mean i get it but it should of macthed or blended in well.I love how she is looking into the mirror and the reflection as she looks into it…but that color of the lips is the distraction…and it kinda throws off the point. But i love Keyshia Cole music and that all that matters!
