Wiz Khalifa

Wiz Khalifa is heading to a campus near you. The Pittsburgh rapper has announced “The Green Carpet Tour,” an eco-minded trek around the country making pit stops at universities and colleges throughout the month of April.

The “Black and Yellow” hitmaker kicks things off on April 1 at North Carolina’s Raleigh Amphitheater, stopping at the University of Rhode Island, Florida State University, and Eastern Michigan University before winding down at Penn State University on April 26. The notorious smoker also brings a new sense of “green” to the venture, powering his bus with biodiesel fuel and using recyclable products backstage.

The announcement of “The Green Carpet Tour” comes in anticipation of his major label debut Rolling Papers, due March 29. The LP has already spawned the single “On My Level” featuring Too $hort and the Stargate-produced “Roll Up,” as well as the chart-topping hit “Black and Yellow.” See where Wiz is rolling through below.
