Lauryn Hill

Ms. Lauryn Hill is ready for round two. Following a winter series of dates, the former Fugee is kicking off the second leg of her comeback tour “Moving Target: Extended Playdate Series,” a 12-date trek around the United States.

The jaunt kicks off at Orlando’s House of Blues on March 16, making pit stops at Miami’s Jazz in the Garden Festival, the Coachella Music and Arts Festival, Los Angeles’ Club Nokia, and Atlanta’s Center Stage. The Grammy winner will wrap her spring journey on May 7 at New Orleans’ Jazz and Heritage Festival.

Ms. Hill explained that playing more intimate venues is intended to give fans a unique experience. “One of the benefits of playing venues smaller than the ones I’m used to allows me the opportunity to not only reconnect with my supporters but to expose them to a portion of the musical journey I’ve been on which the world for the most part has not had access to,” she said. “It’s an exciting and REAL process which these audiences will get to witness.”

She has launched a Twitter account @MsHillMvngTrgt to provide news, highlights, and updates for the “Moving Target Series,” as well as a place for her to communicate directly with her fans.
