Miguel took on his labelmate Britney Spears for Billboard’s “Mashup Mondays.” The R&B crooner covered the pop superstar’s hit “Hold It Against Me,” flipping the dance-pop track into a soul-drenched rock jam that’s almost unrecognizable.

I was like, ‘This is kind of fly.’ As soon as we got the call that we could possibly be covering a song that was current, that was the the first song that popped in my head,” said Miguel. “I’m not sure what Britney’s reaction is going to be, but hopefully she digs it.”
