Jennifer Hudson reigned in purple on “Dancing With the Stars,” performing the Alicia Keys and Salaam Remi-helmed “Don’t Look Down” from her sophomore album I Remember Me, as the show’s professional dancers lit up the floor. Teetering in a minidress and stilettos, the beaming songstress returned later in the program to belt her version of Nina Simone’s “Feeling Good,” below.

Her peformances give me the goosebumps. When you have a voice as big and powerful as Jennifer Hudson’s, you can make any song sound good. I’m glad she performed “Don’t Look Down” for the first time because that song has a feel-good vibe to it. Well done Jennifer and the album is awesome!!
