Jennifer Hudson answers fan-submitted questions for VEVO’s ASK:REPLY series. The star of the upcoming film Winnie shares her favorite current artists including Adele, Rihanna, and Beyoncé, and tells why she’s taking a break from movies to focus on her music. “I don’t believe in doing two things, at least singing and acting, at the same time,” she explains.

J-Hud also reveals which legendary female singer inspires her and her love for cooking. “My favorite meal is turkey wings, some greens, and some sweet potato fries,” says the Weight Watchers spokeswoman.

Plus, find out which of her fellow females she would most like to collaborate with. “I would pick Christina Aguilera definitely—that’s my girl too—and Beyoncé.”

Haters please know that the media can be the worst outlet. Jhud is one of the most honest artist in the industry today. If she said her words were taken out of content then you can bank on that.
