Rap-Up.com || New Music: Skylar Grey – ‘Dance Without You’ [Snippet]

You’ve heard her on Diddy-Dirty Money’s “Coming Home,” Dr. Dre’s “I Need a Doctor,” and Lupe Fiasco’s “Words I Never Said,” now Skylar Grey introduces herself on her buzz single “Dance Without You.” The singer-songwriter, who previously recorded under the name Holly Brook, is gearing up for the release of her Wonderland Music/Interscope debut this fall. She teases with a 30-second snippet of the drum-heavy Alex Da Kid production. The full song will premiere next Tuesday followed by an official first single later in the month.

Ehh, from the 30 second preview, this buzz single sounds disappointing compared to her work with Diddy, Em, Tip, & Lupe. I’ll reserve full judgement for when the full thing drops, still love Skylar though, and am reserving hopes for the first official single

Well, is she urban? cause she doesn’t sound like it. If she releases emo music then rap-up should not feature her. Just like with Lady Gaga. Shes not urban but rap-up keep on featuring her.Please stop :)
