Swizz Beatz throws an “International Party” with Alicia Keys. The superstar husband and wife unite the globe with their voices in the big-budget video for their collaboration commissioned for Reebok Classics’ “Reethym of Lite” campaign. The Chris Robinson-directed clip, which reportedly cost seven figures, mixes art, fashion, choreography, and fast cars.

“It’s about connecting all the continents on the planet on the world stage,” explained Robinson, while Swizz, who serves as Reebok’s brand’s creative director, added, “This is not a music video—this is a big movie.”

Not that any of our opinions mean anything anyway, but I don’t get what this has to do with Reebok shoes.????? Shouldn’t they have been advertised a little more? I love anythng Alicia does and she looks especially good here and sounds amazing as always, but the lyrics?

Love the video, the song is ok. I think it will be big overseas, not so much so in the US. The overseas audience has more of an appreciation for the techno sound. Alicia looks flawless.

Anyway the beat is good and someone got the hook right– Alicia looks beautiful and sounds great.
On the other hand it seems the Lotus got more attention than the Reebok shoes and I don’t see much advertising for the shoes here.

Man!!! This Dude is so full of himself. I don’t like the techno feel. Alicia looks Dickmatized as usual. But for the sake of her sanity I hope they last. Because I don’t think she would handle that so well. She might go KILL BILL ON A HOE. But on the subject I did’nt notice not one Reebok shoe. I guess it was supposed to be left up to the imagination.

@ed, Omg that’s the same thing I was thinking! The only reason I bothered with the song was because AK was on it, but he didn’t let her do anything. Seems more and more like he just uses her to get attention to what he does.
