It has been around before Lady Gaga. Gwen Stefani use to mention a lot. She has been calling herself the Harajuku Barbie for over 2 years, and the first time she goes into the full thing you guys say Gaga. Gaga was wearing a suit tonight, now every guy out there is copying her. Lady Gaga isn’t the original of most of the shit she does, how could anyone copy her. Lady Gaga goes back to 80′s pop stars that she lists as inspirations and literally copies them, but you guys just scream original because your ignorant asses don’t know anything unless it’s shown to you on T.V. At least Nicki is doing a relevant fashion style and you guys say she’s coping somebody else. Just type in one word Harajuku and feel like the fucking idiot you are.

@No1else, The fact that it is so specific to the Harajuku style show that she’s not copying anyone, except maybe Harajuku girls. To say she looked a mess is to say Harajuku style looks a mess because everything about that outfit wan undisputedly Harajuku. It’s so suppose to be fun and cartoony which matches her personality. She was carrying a Teddy bear and wearing flats, Lil Kim had her breast out once, and Lady Gaga came in a egg once and usually wears 8 inch heels. Who’s trying too hard? It’s pop culture.

What seperates nicki from kim n gaga is they have fashion in their blood. when lil kim wore that outfit, she did it with NO EFFORT everyone new she wasnt a character that night, it was her unique style. Being an fashion icon is not just putting on crazy close to stand out but to make it unique. THATS NOT NICKI its a person in costume.
