Rap-Up.com || Tyler, the Creator Meets Eminem in Ireland

Bad really met evil when Tyler, the Creator ran into Eminem. The rappers, both no strangers to controversy, recently posed backstage at the Tennent’s ViTal music festival in Ireland. It was a dream come true for the Odd Future frontman, who grew up idolizing Slim Shady.

“Fuckkkkk O My Atheist God,” tweeted Tyler, winner of the Moonman for Best New Artist at the 2011 VMAs. “Goal List Check: I Told Him Relapse Was One Of The Greatest Albums To Me.”

Em returned the love when he co-signed Tyler and his OFWGKTA crew. “I’ve heard enough to know that it feels like they’re pushing boundaries and buttons, and that’s definitely one of the things that I’m familiar with, especially when I first came out,” he told MTV News. “I love it, I love the fact that they’re doing that. And the dudes can rhyme.”

You guys should listen to Em’s early work … as a matter of fact, you can even listen to Relapse, and see. There’s no way you can bash Tyler for his content and then praise Em. Skill is a different question. Em is miles better, but as far as content, they’re similar. It’s cool that Tyler got to meet his hero.
