WTH does Rita Ora have to do with Rihanna, is it because of their skin complexion? Why don’t ya’ll say that about other Roc Nation artist like Bridget Kelly, Melanie Fiona, etc.

@DRB, What are you talking about? Jay-z has said from the beginning he is into developing artist, that it’s gonna take a while for artist to come out until they find their voice and what they want to say.
Rihanna has her lane and i’m sure all the other artist will have their lanes. Ya’ll act like there can only be so many artist at a time. There is room for everyone.
I took Alicia Keys years to come out when she first got sign. Timing is everything, it’s Rita Ora’s time now with her blowing up, especially in the UK.

@flawda, None of the run of the mill R&B girls are doing anything because…. R&B is dead, they killed it by being generic and the definition of basic and two, they’re all the same.
When a white artists comes out doing soul, the bitter black people of the world complain, but fact is, they do it better and they stand out and they don’t box themselves in. Find me one album in the last 10 years that stands up to and stands out as much as Back to Black or even Frank. Instead, you have Brandy and Monica singing about laptops and social media, Melanie Fiona making “ok, already done” stuff, and Bridget Kelly singing about “f*cking you up.” They can all start with making timeless music.
Regarding Rita, this is pop and its disappointing, 2nd rate, Katy Perry knock off material so moving on. I had/have hopes for her but this and Hot Right Now aren’t what I’m here for.

Jay stands behind all these artists…but kept Jcole on the sidelines…i mean a large proportion of coles success rests on his own shoulders….cole couldnt even get a Jay collab till the last minute…sorry Rita…i know this article about you and not Cole.

Finally! I remember when i met her in london for the 2nd time a half year after she got signed and nothing was happening.. Cant wait to see her blow up but tbh her first single sounds like a flop she got a great voice and deserves better songs!
