I liked Nicki but she’s slowly losing my interest…I honestly can’t take her seriously anymore…her performances have been looking VERY lack-luster and SLOPPY! (her stiffness, vocals, she was singing/rapping way off beat for a min, her stamina looks low, and omg that ‘wig movement’ at the end!) Her music took a complete U-turn and it’s probably gonna get old sooner than u think…I checked this post with no high expectations, but still hoping to see some type of improvement…unfortunately, I feel like this was no better than that failure of a performance at the Grammys. I’m not hating on Nicki, but I call it like it is and I’ll admit when I think something is terrible. And i don’t understand why some of u always have to bring up Kim when someone criticizes Nicki…ain’t nobody talkin bout Kim…we talkin bout how terrible THIS performance was…everyone’s entitled to their opinion so no one should slander another for being honest.

@JP, that’s cool and that’s ur opinion…maybe my standards of quality are different than urs…it seems nowadays people just settle for less when it comes to talent, and that’s why music has been caught in a downhill spiral. It seems like once an artist becomes popular, and they have an established fanbase, they start doing whatever, showing less effort in their music and performances, because they know they don’t have to work as hard as they did before, and their loyal fans will continue to support. This is why lots of artists don’t last long! At some point the gimmicks get old and people start to get tired. I’m starting to think that Nicki can potentially fall into this category b/c she’s already dissappointing a lot of her urban/hip-hop fans. Those are the fans who made her who she is, and now it’s like a slap in the face that she’s making a complete change. Instead of broadening her fanbase, it seems like she’s almost COMPLETELY changing it! I guess we’ll have to wait and see how this next album does and how long it will last. Hopefully she can prove us wrong.

Im suprised how short-sighted her fans are. This performance perfectly proves that she CAN rap but she CANNOT sing live. She didnt sing. She didnt even tried to imitate that shes was trying to sing. she should have dressed more attractively for the game!! she doesnt know how to do the “lady gaga” thing very well cuz even though “gaga” wears ‘weird’costumes, she always looks, ‘sexy’ and attractive!!
