I LOVE THIS! It’s a different side to Trina. Which is actually cool to see. Kinda reminds me of Starships, be cool if Trina & Nic just combined their songs. Old hiphop is good but it’s 2012. Honestly, she’s been in the game for 10-14 yrs and has always stayed in her lane. And I love that Trina. she may make music to cater to her fans but it’s also what she loves to do and if she wants to experiment she should. People always placed her in hood/hard/raunchy category and her fans from day one will love that, but it seems she wants to expand and change that notion of her. And with this effort she did outstanding. Well done Trina!

Why are so many of you calling this “not real Hip-hop” when Trina is clearly rapping in it. Sure it’s faster than most of her previous records but that’s about it. I don’t see why songs you can dance to aren’t considered Hip-hop by so many of you. Break down the walls and explore some new territory before your so-called sacred genre becomes extinct.

Going outside you comfort zone and experimenting another genre/sound is a good thing to do. As long as its done well and your not losing yourself in the process. I think that Trina did this pretty good. She definitely deserves more credit and recognition for being one of the most consistent female rappers for 10 years.

Sounds like the rapping and singing should be in two different songs.

I love electronic music genres more than any other, so I’m getting tired of these pop/hip-hop artists sampling the sound, because it is not real electronic music. It taints the genre.
