A$AP Rocky

A$AP Rocky and his A$AP Mob caught the last train to Paris to shoot the “expensive, fun” video for “Goldie,” the first single off his debut album Long.Live.A$AP, due in July. The Harlem rapper shot scenes with the Eiffel Tower in the background and video chatted with designer Alexander Wang, who provided most of the wardrobe.

“Basically the concept of the video is to be more flamboyant and just to showcase a lot of flashy luxury—old foreign cars and fashion models,” said Pretty Flacko, who directed and styled the video. “I need you to know this is all my idea. I’m the flyest motherfu**er you know.”

He got to rest easy thanks to his team of professionals and the larger budget didn’t hurt. “With this video, I think people are gonna respect the art and the visions,” said Rocky. “They gonna respect the swag.”
