Rap-Up.com || Nicki Minaj Sizzles on ‘Today’ Summer Concert Series

Nicki Minaj fired up Rockefeller Plaza with a red-hot performance on the “Today” Toyota Summer Concert Series. Fresh off the U.S. leg of her “Pink Friday” tour, the blonde Barb served up her hit singles “Starships” and “Pound the Alarm” and dedicated “I Am Your Leader” and “Beez in the Trap” to her “gritty Barbz in the audience.” Nicki was suffering from a bruised vocal chord, but made it through the performance with some help from Jordin Sparks, who was praying for her recovery.

“Jordin Sparks was praying for me backstage cuz she had a bruised vocal chord too! Haha! We were so dramatic!” tweeted Nicki, who posed for a photo with the “Fab Five” gold medal gymnasts of Team USA including Gabby Douglas.
