Fresh from her trip to Kazakhstan, Keri Hilson looked absolutely stunning as she attended the Norman Mailer Center “Meeting of Giants” benefit gala on Thursday night at the Mandarin Hotel in New York. Hosted by “30 Rock” star Alec Baldwin, the fourth annual event presented the first-ever Muhammad Ali Ethics Award.
Keri joined Alec and the legendary boxer at the festivities in a chic black, belted gown. “Muhammed Ali is the world’s greatest ego,” she quoted Alec as saying and added, “My night was awesome!”
The “Pretty Girl Rock” singer is a strong supporter of giving back and charitable causes. “My mother was very integral in making sure that we understood the importance of giving back in our community,” Keri told CNN this summer. “In Decatur, we would feed the homeless many, many, many Saturdays. We had to wake up during the ungodly hours and pack their lunches in brown paper bags.”
