Rap-Up.com || New Music: Ne-Yo f/ Fabolous & Diddy

With just over a week to go until his R.E.D. album drops on November 6, Ne-Yo takes it back to the ’90s on “Should Be You.” The hip-hop-flavored throwback joint, produced by Salaam Remi, kicks off with a verse from Fabolous and features a remorseful verse from Diddy.

“It’s basically a song talking about being with one person when you know that you should be and want to be with another person,” Ne-Yo told Rap-Up TV. “As beautiful as this brand new woman is, you know in your heart that where you should be is with that one.”

Great song! Love that Ne-Yo is mixing this album up … R&B and pop for both of his fan bases. I admire diversity in an artist.

@Ice, Who’s mark? What mark? I mean everyone needs to realize fans want different things. Ok, so for you it’s not what you want. That’s fair to state. However, to say he’s “missing THE mark” is implying there is a “mark”. Who determines this mark? We the fans, and the “mark” is different for everyone. He can’t please everyone in one track, so he has to give us a balanced album.

My personal opinion Trey Songz and Them others should be taking notes from him ….
