50 Cent is on the run in the action-packed trailer for “My Life,” the new single off his upcoming album Street King Immortal, due next year. The clip, which was shot in Detroit, features helicopters, fast cars, and his co-stars Eminem and Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine.
The G-Unit rapper will debut the song with Adam tonight on NBC’s “The Voice,” while the full track is scheduled to hit iTunes later today.
@Rah, i was thinking that too, am a 50 fan and dis song just show hw desperate 50 is for a hit.
i pray dis song does well cuz if it doesn’t 50 shud kiss his rap career goodbye
@kayla, having a career isn’t just about having sales ya know, some don’t pray on sales. He doesn’t need to, he’s already filthy rich, i mean he has his own energy drink brand.
@Tez, Nas called it in 06 Hip Hop is dead, there are some like Nas who are holding the torch, but shit like Flo Rida and Pitbill DO NOT PASS FOR HIP HOP
@Gaz, Hip-Hop isn’t dead, because there’s still artist like Jay-Z, Eminem, & Nas himself making good music, and yeah they’re getting up there in age, Kanye’s still got about a decade left in him at least maybe. Then there’s young cats like J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, and Wale keeping it alive. Just cause 50 put Adam Levine on a record don’t mean hip-hop is dead
@JHP, never implied that there were no artists holding the torch for Hip Hop. Compared to the 90′s and half of the 00′s It’s not as big as back then. Radio stations here don’t want to even touch real Hip Hop tracks and favour music from people like Pitbull and Flo Rida who rap over tired techno beats and call that Hip hop or “Urban “. I don’t give a crap about what 50 does I was never a big fan of his, but I’ll respect him for not rapping over a techno beat
@Gaz, ITS CALLED EVOLUTION PEOPLE!!!! Florida and Pit are simply blending in because they no longer do drugs but EVERYTHING HAS TO CHANGE EVENTUALLY BECAUSE THAT IS ((((LIFE FOR YOU PEOPLE))))) Hey even Obama said that we NO LONGER USE HORSES AND OTHER ANIMALS TO DO WHAT WE DO TODAY!!!
“M” is off drugs fallowing hir near life ending overdose so yeah he sucks now…another example would be LIL JOHN! He sucks too and was my favorite artist at one point- Dont stat no shit wont be no shit….Dont stat no shit wont be no shit- Yeahhh! If you dont give a dam we dont give a fuck…hey! I think that drugs have an influence on hey they rap(sadly but true) Dr dre is another example but he has always earned da respect so AFTERMATH ALL THE WAY!!!
@Bert, it’s noT EVOLUTION, the techno / dance genre has been around for years. It’s just the “current” in thing to do ever since Black eyed Peas decided to go Techno
@realtruth Who told that the old formula doesn’t work no more? I prefer that old hip-hop way to rap and rhyme than this hip-pop that everybody is doing…
that song is whack it will dissapear like new day just drop a good gansta shit n u will see 50 cent, your album GRODT SOLD MILLIONS WITH GANGSTA MUSIC NO ONE WANTS POP SHIT
