Rap-Up.com || Ciara Performs ‘Got Me Good’ on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’

Ciara brought the moves and some sexiness during her performance of “Got Me Good” on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” CiCi worked up a sweat with her troupe of dancers as she commanded the stage with the Rodney Jerkins-produced single off her upcoming album One Woman Army, due early next year.

The performance was taped during her appearance in October, but was only posted now on Jimmy Kimmel’s official YouTube channel.

I agree…and with minimal support (dancers, stage acrobatics, back track) 99% of the time she’s singing live while doing all this…the avg consumer is dumb as bricks so her talent goes unnoticed.

Y’all can’t say she’s not the best performer our generation . Her vocals hve improved by far when she perform cause usually she be tlkn the lyrics but her talent when show one of these days . When y’all ready for real talent . She could of gave a lazy performance but that’s not ci . Proud of her .. Don’t judge ci neither cause its like she started frm scratch cause jive still hve a hold of billboard and radio stations for not playing her music …

I like Ciara and I was surprised at this performance. It was REALLY good vocally! She always puts on a show but the vocals are just so-so for me. This one was right on the money. I just hate that she doesn’t promote as much as she could. This song always makes me want to dance when I hear it… the problem is, I don’t hear it often. And thus, I forget about it! She needs to be BLAZING promotions left and right! She killed promotions for Basic Instinct but the album was garbage. She needs a new PR team because she needs to promote like she’s a new artist because TBH she really is kinda starting over. I don’t know why it’s so hard for her to catch a flame in the R&B circuit but I hope her team gets it together before the album drops…

This was a good performance but she was not singing. She sung the live beforehand, and she just simply mimed to the per recorded vocals. That’s why it sounds so natural. Have a little perception people.

@Swag King Cold, your are correct. Ive watched ciara perform many many times and i can tell u this is NOT live. What they is record the vocals for the performance during rehearsal with minimal movement and dancing so it sounds good and just play it over during the actual performance. So it does song live.

personally @shawty ive come 2 this conclusion that 50cent is behind her not winning i swear once she came out with Cant Leave Em Alone everything started goin bad i swear like that was tha 1st single 2 disappear quickly off tha charts 12 weeks… it peaked @40 in tha 11th week tha… 12th it was 92 unusual …it has nothing 2 do with Rihanna she wasnt winnning then(as much as i dont dig ri i feel like B,Ci,A.keys and a bunch of other ppl wanted 2 take breaks n ri came in n stomp a lane 4 herself) but back 2 Ci ill bet my last dollar 50 blackballed her 50 is known 2 be shady(i feel like he was in cohoots with philana)(i e that keri diss philana’s name written all over it) but with talent like ciara’s u cant keep her down thats why everytime they kick her down she gets stronger and stronger its like she has been giving me her aol concert vibes with every performance lately…..remember ppl love 2 tryn in figure her out n all she keeps doin is making it harder for ppl 2 put her in a box…..Resilient=Ciara

@swagkingcold ppl like who kno nothing about performing that is all her live n not no damn track…she is singin that chorus tha entire time no1 backing her wth r u talking about? using a backing track2 make it sound dynamic is not lip-synching …put it this way either u sing live or let tha track sing 4 u there is no in between there no way she can be or any1 for that matter can use pre-recorded vocals n be shouting…talking…ad-libN it dont work like that my friend trust me i sing so i truly kno this

ciara is A TERRIFIC DANCER, best female dancer in the industry by far HOWEVER her vocals have not been greater than mediocre at any point in her career. Yes she has improved but if you hear the songs she’s singing, they’re not that vocally challenging or different for her. Her fans send all this praise towards all the damn time but come time to buy an album SHE FLOPS….HARD!

but they’re quick to blame it on the industry…….you dont flop twice and it be the industry’s fault both times.

Ciara needs NEW songs!!! All these songs shes coming out with sound so 2005. Her performance was a 10!! She’s a way better performer than Rihanna. Her songs are whats holding her back. Her imaging could be a little updated as well.

This Was Live ‘ the chorus was playback ‘ but evryone does that . Her voice wasn’t cracking or anything while doing all that dancing . Thats talent . She might not sale . But she already achieved shxtt ‘ soo it don’t matter . Talent doesn’t always sale . But it always goes noticed !
