From Compton to 30 Rock. Kendrick Lamar was the musical guest on this weekend’s “Saturday Night Live.” The West Coast’s new king performed his good kid, m.A.A.d city singles “Swimming Pools (Drank)” and “Poetic Justice,” and appeared in a digital short called “YOLO” with The Lonely Island and host Adam Levine. He played a financial planner, dishing out advice through his raps.
See Kendrick like you’ve never seen him before.

@Donn, I thought kendrick was excellent. He didn’t seem nervous he looked completely at ease. Thank God too because the show sucked he saved it.

Dear Kendrick,
I thought your performance on SNL was incredible. I can tell you love what you do. I am proud of you. You know how you want the band to sound and you know how to feel what you’re doing. The thing I felt bad about I felt like at the end of the show they kind of blocked you out. If it wasn’t for you they probably would get a horrible rating for tonites show. But you’re a strong guy. We canlearn from all of our experiences. Much Love

@diane, LMFAO
1. He’s not reading your ‘letter’
2. A ‘horrible rating’ with Adam Levine as host? Bitch, you tried that!

Last but not least. Poetic Justice. I loved the way you used any time any place brilliant I was waiting for Janet jackson to come out in some dookie braids lol.
I am over 50 years old but I love music i use to sing in a band in the 70′s.I also know when I here a message that’s just makes you smile because the song is so great. My nephew told me to look you up on utbe a year ago. and I was floored. He also told me about A$ap and Joey bada$$ thank good for new people.
