Nicki Minaj Surprises Students at Villanova University

Villanova rolled out the pink carpet for Nicki Minaj when she surprised the students on Friday. To close out its annual Hoops Mania festival, the Philadelphia-area university hosted a Midnight Madness-themed basketball event to celebrate the start of the season.

According to CBS Sports, this year’s festivities concluded with a surprise performance from the Young Money superstar.

Nicki delivered a 25-minute set of her hits including “Starships,” “Moment 4 Life,” “High School,” and “I Wanna Be With You.” She also took photos with the men’s and women’s teams and was gifted a jersey with her name on it.

“Villanova, thank you for having me. I’ll cherish this jersey forever!!!!” wrote Nicki. “Like Lamar Odom, I ball… scrotum.”
