New Music: Mya f/ Eric Bellinger – ‘Same Page’

Same Page

Sixteen years ago to the day, Mya stormed onto the scene with her self-titled debut. In honor of the anniversary, the R&B veteran has released her aptly-titled EP Sweet XVI to digital retailers.

Executive produced by Mya and Yonni, the six tracks include the testimonial “Unbreakable” featuring rap newcomer Mike Check and “Same Page” with singer-songwriter Eric Bellinger.

The R&B singers breakup to makeup on the steamy duet, where they forget what they were fighting about and get down to business in the bedroom.

Stream “Same Page” and snippets of the five other tracks below.

@Chris XxX, YOUS A HATER, at least she’s not acting like SOME CHEAP STUNT QUEEN LIKE BEYAWNSAY who I’m sure is your fav right gurl. THIS IS HOW SUM1 WITH TALENT BEHAVES, not having to take YOUR KIT OFF EVERYTIME TO GARNER ATTENTION, BOUNCY could learn a lot.

She has a very distinctive voice. Same Page could become a smash on urban hit. Her name won’t make it a hit sadly though. Someone like Kelly Rowland could bring it to the charts. Great track and vocals nonetheless.

The last time I heard from Mya was on a radio show online and she mentioned that she’s very much popular overseas as she was here in the US. So, just because you don’t hear her music on the radio doesn’t mean that she’s not making noise. Mya is independent and I’m pretty sure she’s making enough money to maintain.

She still has a great voice, but the music/production stinks like a sewer.
