Kendrick Lamar Gets Piggyback Ride From Woody Harrelson in 'SNL' Promo

Kendrick Lamar

Kendrick Lamar returns to “SNL” as musical guest this weekend. In the first promos for the show, K-Dot exchanges some funny banter with host Woody Harrelson and “SNL” cast member Kate McKinnon. The TDE rapper fools McKinnon and pretends to be Harrelson’s True Detective co-star Matthew McConaughey, and even hitches a piggyback ride to 55th Street on Woody’s back.

You can expect to see Kendrick perform his latest single “i” and possibly even debut a new song off his upcoming album, which may arrive before 2015.

Hopefully, K-Dot will also appear in a skit or two. The last time he was on “SNL” in January 2013, he starred in a digital short called “YOLO” with The Lonely Island (relive it here).
