Chance the Rapper Debuts 'Blessings' on 'Tonight Show'
All positive vibes. After announcing his third mixtape Chance 3 earlier this month, Chance the Rapper debuted the first single “Blessings” on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Thursday night (May 5).
Accompanied by Byron Cage, Jamila Woods, and Donnie Trumpet, the Chicago rapper took the stage for the first performance of the gospel-inspired song. As Chance preached positivity, Jamila and Byron took it to church, capping it all off with a gospel choir.
“When the praises go up, the blessings go down,” raps Chance. “It seems like blessings keep falling in my lap.”
