Nicki Minaj Holds Twerk Contest at Adult Swim Upfronts

Nicki Minaj turned an Adult Swim party into a twerk-fest.

The “Feeling Myself” MC performed at Adult Swim’s Upfront Party at Terminal 5 in NYC on Wednesday (May 18), delivering a set filled with hits—from “Moment 4 Life” and “Starships” to “Only” and “Anaconda.”

During her performance, Minaj also held a twerk contest for a $500 cash prize. “I’m looking for a female who thinks they can back that ass up,” she said, according to Billboard. “If you’re standing next to the baddest bitch in the building, point her out.”

Once the winner was selected, Nicki delivered the $500 in cash and danced with the victorious twerker. That moment was captured by fans on Instagram. Check out the steamy visual below.

After being named one of TIME’s 100 Most Influential People and meeting with President Obama, Nicki reunited with her pal Ariana Grande on “Side to Side” off the latter’s new album Dangerous Woman.

In between trips to Philly to visit her boo Meek Mill, she is crafting the follow-up to 2014’s The Pinkprint and working on a television show inspired by her childhood, titled “Nicki.”
