Video: JR Castro - 'Right Away'

With summer right around the corner, JR Castro invites fans to party on the West Side in the video for “Right Away.”

The visual is a fun-in-the-sun journey through Santa Monica, with swimsuits and sunshine all around. The Cali-centric clip also delivers classic West Coast motifs, including scenes of the Santa Monica Pier, vintage whips, and beachside parties.

For his part, JR pulls lyrical inspiration from Montell Jordan’s “This Is How We Do It,” and reminds his lady friend that he’ll be there “Right Away,” as soon as she calls.

But it isn’t all summer fun, as violence breaks up the good vibes.

JR has been in the studio with Wale, Future, Jhené Aiko, and Mike WiLL Made-It working on his forthcoming debut EP You, which is executive produced by Timbaland.
