  /  07.06.2016

Big K.R.I.T. is celebrating Independence Day a little late this year.

In the wee hours of Wednesday (Jul. 6), right after unleashing 12 freestyles in 12 hours as part of his XII/XII campaign, Krizzle revealed that he is no longer signed to Def Jam.

“I want to thank each and every one of you for following & supporting me through out my career up until this moment. #12FOR12,” he tweeted. “And at this moment right now, I want to share with you, that I am no longer with Def Jam. It’s officially MULTI til the Sun die.”

He hit Instagram shortly after to share those same tweets along with the caption: “Happy Independence Day.”
