Cardi B Scores Highest-Charting Hot 100 Single by Female Rapper Since Nicki Minaj

“Bodak Yellow” continues to catapult Cardi B to greater heights.

The Kodak Black-influenced banger has become the highest-charting single on the Billboard Hot 100 by an unaccompanied female rapper since Nicki Minaj’s “Anaconda.”

“Bodak” still hasn’t surpassed Minaj’s Sir Mix-A-Lot-inspired smash. While Cardi is currently at No. 14, “Anaconda” peaked at No. 2 back in 2014.

Recently, Nicki shared her support for Cardi B on Snapchat by reposting one of her videos that had “Rake It Up” playing in the background. She captioned it with the heart emoji and the hashtag #LilBadTriniBish. In response, Bardi wrote: “Omg!! Thank you so much for the love.”

Idris Elba is also a fan of Cardi B. The Dark Tower actor shared his support for “Bodak Yellow” during a press junket. Cardi gushed over the love, tweeting, “I’m so proud of my self :’)Idris Elba thank you !!!”
