Safaree Robbed at Gunpoint
An emotional Safaree opens up about a traumatizing ordeal. During an interview with Power 105’s Angie Martinez, the rapper-turned-reality television star revealed that he was robbed at gunpoint in New York earlier today (April 2).
“I just got robbed at gunpoint,” he said while fighting back tears. “A couple of hours ago, I just got robbed. Two dudes with guns just ran up on me, me face down on the floor with a gun to my head. They just took everything.”
Safaree has been a victim of violence before. Last year, he said he was “jumped” by members of Meek Mill’s crew. “Meek, you are the biggest pussy on this planet,” he said at the time. “You saw me, you ain’t do shit, you had your ni**as jump me. One-on-one you can’t fuck with me, so that’s why you had to do that.”
Last month, he also allegedly said that Nicki Minaj had been abusive during their ill-fated relationship.
