New Music: Lil Uzi Vert - 'Bandz (Bye Bye Birdie)'
“Bandz” will make her shoulder shimmy. Lil Uzi Vert’s longtime producer DP Beats opens the vault and unleashes “Bandz (Bye Bye Birdie).”
The previously unreleased track finds Vert rapping about his dough in sing-songy fashion. “In the foreign, now I’m swerving,” he rhymes. “All that money, now I’m nervous.”
Money makin’ Uzi keeps the boasts coming, while taunting haters in the process. “Stack my money, spend it quick,” he raps. “I’m walking with the bands / I just pulled up on your bitch, I’m riding in a Benz / Why you mad ’cause I’m rich?”
Lil Uzi Vert recently posted a cryptic message on Instagram. “Uzi is currently working on the best music in his and your life,” reads the statement.
He recently joined forces with Chance the Rapper on G Herbo’s “Everything (Remix).” He also linked up with Steve Aoki on “Been Ballin’.”
Up next, he will join G-Eazy, Ty Dolla $ign, and YBN Nahmir on “The Endless Summer Tour,” which kicks off July 20 in Auburn.
