With his full-length debut Remember Me in stores now, Sage the Gemini took the stage on Wednesday’s “Late Show with David Letterman.” Joined by IAmSu!, the Bay Area rapper cruised through a performance of his platinum hit “Gas Pedal,” which has spawned a remix with Justin Bieber.

Sage has also jumped on the official remix to Jason Derulo’s top 5 hit “Talk Dirty.”

Rick Ross Performs on ‘Le Grand Journal’

After his successful launch in the U.S., Rick Ross brought his Mastermind campaign overseas. With some help from his MMG signee Tracy T, the Bawse performed his Biggie cover “Nobody” on French talk show “Le Grand Journal.” He also commanded the stage with his 2010 smash “B.M.F. (Blowin’ Money Fast),” and tried out his French.

In a new interview with Paper, Rozay revealed that he is on a diet and has been eating fish and salad instead of fried foods. “I’ve been eating like a bawse for a long time,” he said. “Now I want to eat clean.”

Future Addresses ‘Drunk in Love’ Confusion on ‘Wendy’


After celebrating Ciara’s baby shower over the weekend, Future headed back to NYC for work. On Monday, the “Honest” rapper sat down with talk show queen Wendy Williams to chat about his personal and professional life. He confirmed that he and Ciara are expecting a baby boy and opened up about their wedding plans.

He also addressed the confusion over his song “Good Morning,” which sounds a lot like Beyoncé’s “Drunk in Love.” Future said that he demoed the Detail production for Bey before recording his version, which will not appear on his sophomore album Honest.

“It’s not on the album because toward the first beginning of the song it’s like the same melody,” explained Future.

Plus, he hit the stage to perform the title track and “Move That Dope.”

Ty Dolla $ign Performs ‘Paranoid’ on ‘Tonight Show’

Ty Dolla $ign’s star keeps rising. On Friday, the L.A. hitmaker made his network television debut on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” With some help from The Roots, he blazed the stage with a smoking-hot performance of his Beach House EP hit “Paranoid.”

Ty will hit the road on his first headlining tour, which kicks off April 29 in Fresno, Calif.

Jennifer Lopez and French Montana Perform ‘I Luh Ya Papi’ on ‘American Idol’

Boricuas in the house. Jenny brought it back to the block on Thursday’s “American Idol” results show with the debut performance of her new single “I Luh Ya Papi.”

Following an introduction from fellow judges Keith Urban and Harry Connick Jr., the pop superstar was joined by past “Idol” contestants Pia Toscano, Jessica Sanchez, and Allison Iraheta as she sang on a stoop right out of her Bronx hometown.

Against a graffitied blacklit set, J.Lo busted out some choreographed moves and chilled with Bad Boy’s own French Montana, who rapped his verse on the Detail-produced song.

Earlier this week, she announced that her 10th album will arrive on June 17 featuring Tyga, Big Sean, and a duet with Maxwell.

Questlove Plays Dead Body on ‘Law & Order: SVU’


Questlove made his strange dream come true. The Roots drummer played dead—literally—during his appearance on Wednesday night’s “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.”

In a scene with Ice-T, Tamara Tunie, and Kelli Giddish, he lay out on a slab with a bullet wound to the head in the medical examiner’s office before a sheet was pulled over his face.

In November, he told Us Weekly that it was his fantasy to play a dead body on the show.

YG and Jeezy Perform on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’

A day after the release of his debut My Krazy Life, YG put on for his city during his appearance on Wednesday’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”

With DJ Mustard on the turntables and red Chuck Taylors on his feet, the Compton MC took the indoor stage to perform a medley of his hits “Who Do You Love” and “My Hitta” featuring a guest appearance from his CTE boss Jeezy. He returned for an encore of his ScHoolboy Q and Jay Rock-assisted banger “I Just Wanna Party.”

According to HITS, his album is expected to sell 60-65,000 copies in its first week.
