Eminem Album to Precede 50 Cent

50 Cent and Eminem

50 Cent will have to wait on the bench while his Aftermath teammate Eminem goes up to bat.

50’s fourth album Before I Self-Destruct was originally scheduled for a winter release. Instead, it will now follow Eminem’s Relapse.

“Right now I’m on a train and the Em choo-choo car goes first,” the “In Da Club” hitmaker told The Associated Press. “Because Dre is mixing Em’s album, Em will be completed entirely before we get a chance to finish up the pieces that me and Dre did together.”

Slim Shady’s sixth studio album is expected to be released this spring, although a solid release date has not been confirmed.
