The neighbors aren’t the only ones who know his name. The students at Florida A&M University got an ear and eyeful of Trey Songz as he muscled his way through a performance benefitting Haiti at the Alfred Lawson Jr. Teaching Center Gymnasium on the college’s Tallahassee campus. Trey’s manager Kevin Liles revealed that the brawny R&B star is aiming for a September 14 release date with his next album.

Mariah Carey, who recently reunited in the studio with J.D., was honored with the James Brown Cultural Excellence Award at the 12th Annual Keepers of the Dream Awards at the Sheraton New York Hotel & Towers in New York City.

Common serenaded one lucky fan at the Haiti Relief Concert at Florida A&M University’s campus on Thursday (April 15).


Fabolous also chipped in at the Haiti Relief Concert. Earlier in the week, he shot videos for his mixtape tracks “Tonight” and “Love Come Down.”
