Drake

Live from New York it’s Drake! The Canadian superstar will appear for the first time on “Saturday Night Live” next month.

Drizzy has been tapped as the musical guest for the October 15 episode of the late-night variety show, hosted by actress Anna Faris. He will take the stage at 30 Rockefeller Plaza to perform material from his sophomore album Take Care, which drops on October 24.

It’s currently unknown if the rapper-actor will appear in a sketch. His Young Money comrade Nicki Minaj performed earlier this year and was included in several comedy skits, including an “SNL Digital Short” with Andy Samberg.

Other musical acts booked for the upcoming season include Lady Antebellum (Oct. 1), Foster the People (Oct. 8), and Michael Bublé (Dec. 17).
