Ne-Yo set the weekend off right by staging a free concert in Central Park’s Rumsfeld Playfield for the “Good Morning America” Summer Concert Series.

The R&B gentleman broke a sweat while performing his upbeat hits “Closer,” “Miss Independent,” and “Don’t Make ‘Em Like You.”

He kept the party going with a medley of “Give Me Everything,” “Let’s Go,” and “Let Me Love You.”

He recorded over 150 songs for his latest album R.E.D. before narrowing it down to 14. “It’s a very painstaking process, but it is a labor of love,” he said.
