Keri Hilson Steps Out to 'Riddick' Premiere
Long hair, don’t care. Keri Hilson rocked braids to the premiere of Universal Pictures’ Riddick in Westwood, Calif. on Wednesday. The singer makes her acting debut alongside Vin Diesel in the sci-fi film, which opens in theaters September 6.
“Working with Vin was a dream come true,” said Keri. “He wears many hats. He’s just every bit of a genius you would expect him to be, but more.”
The “Pretty Girl Rock” hitmaker has been in the studio working on her third album with Timbaland and Polow Da Don.
“I didn’t want to lose the fans that do love what I have done in the past, but there is growth that has happened,” she said of the follow-up to 2010’s No Boys Allowed. “I’m all about blending the worlds of pop and hip-hop and R&B all in a pot.”
