Ariana Grande and Big Sean Perform at White House Easter Egg Roll
President Obama and the First Lady welcomed Ariana Grande back to the White House for the 2014 Easter Egg Roll on Monday. As hundreds of kids and parents looked on, the 20-year-old singer took to the South Lawn to perform a medley of her Yours Truly cuts including “Piano,” “The Way,” and “Right There” with Big Sean, who was fresh from his Coachella appearance.
Ariana also met Jim Carrey during her visit. “met my childhood crush Jim Carrey. could even speak. he was kind, warm and human. I’m so happy,” she tweeted. “all was swell until my mom told him that my first screen name was [email protected]………… I wanted to die.”
Just last month, the Nickelodeon star joined Patti LaBelle, Aretha Franklin, Jill Scott, and Janelle Monáe for the White House’s Women of Soul concert.
Her new single “Problem” featuring Iggy Azalea is now available for pre-order on iTunes, and will be released on April 28. Big Sean also hinted that he’s featured as a “mystery whisperer” on the record.
