Ed Sheeran returned to 30 Rock for his appearance on Tuesday’s “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” With guitar in hand, the red-haired crooner performed his Pharrell-produced single “Sing” with some help from Questlove on drums.

“It was amazing to work with Pharrell,” he said during a backstage interview. “He brings out different sides of people. He had a very clear idea of how to work it.”

Ed will join Nicki Minaj, Jennifer Hudson, and Ariana Grande as a performer at The Roots’ 4th of July Jam in Philadelphia next month. His sophomore album x arrives June 23.
