Nicki Minaj to Perform 'Anaconda' at VMAs

Oh, my, God! Nicki Minaj is coming to the VMAs. The reigning rap queen will perform her new single “Anaconda” for the first time at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards.

Nicki is set to take the stage live on Sunday, August 24, at The Forum in Inglewood, Calif., it was announced today.

It will mark the first performance of the Sir Mix-a-Lot-sampled single off her upcoming album The Pinkprint, due this fall.

She previously graced the VMA stage during Alicia Keys’ 2012 performance of “Girl on Fire” and performed during the VMAs pre-show in 2010.

Minaj is the latest superstar to join the VMAs lineup, which includes Usher, Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, 5 Seconds of Summer, Maroon 5, and Beyoncé, who will receive the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.
