Stream Victoria Monét's 'Nightmares & Lullabies: Act II' EP
Seven months after dropping Act I, Victoria Monét releases the second installment in her Nightmares & Lullabies EP series. Executive produced by Tommy Brown, the 7-track EP features additional production by Mr. Franks and Travis Sayles, plus an appearance from T.I., who guests on “Mad Generation.”
The Sacramento-bred singer-songwriter has been working behind the scenes, penning hits for artists including Ariana Grande, Chris Brown, and Fifth Harmony, and can currently be heard on Machine Gun Kelly’s single “A Little More.”
“Nightmares & Lullabies is a metaphor for the juxtapositions ones life can display—bad days vs. the best ones and how they can play off of each other,” Monét told Billboard. “It also describes my sound. My voice represents the lullaby, and the tribal undertone in the music is dark like a nightmare.”
