Video: Chevy Woods feat. DeJ Loaf - 'All Said and Done'
Chevy Woods holds it down for his day ones in the video for “All Said and Done” featuring DeJ Loaf. The black-and-white clip illustrates the song’s narrative—the Taylor Gang affiliate reflects on an old friend, and considers the different paths their lives have taken over the years. He visits prison and a graveyard, two options that he’s managed to avoid through his music career. His friend wasn’t so lucky, and expresses his regrets about missing out on the opportunities that arose for Chevy.
Joined by DeJ, scenes at a graveyard and inside a prison depict the presumption of death and jail being a common outcome for people raised in areas such as Hazelwood, the impoverished community of Pittsburgh where Chevy was raised.
“All Said and Done” is the lead single from Chevy’s upcoming EP The 48 Hunnid Project, due Aug. 7. In addition to DeJ, Wiz Khalifa, OG Maco, and Rico Love are featured on the seven tracks.
