The Weeknd Performs 'The Hills' at AMAs

  /  11.22.2015

Making a fiery entrance at the American Music Awards, The Weeknd emerged in front of a flaming vestibule to perform “The Hills,” the chart-topping hit from his debut Beauty Behind the Madness, which won Favorite Soul/R&B Album earlier in the evening.

Justin Bieber and Nick Jonas watched from the audience as the Canadian crooner manned the stage on his own, fire blazing all around him. It was short-lived as he cooed through the song, departing the stage without giving it a second’s thought.

The Weeknd released Beauty in August, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 326,000 copies sold in its first week. He is currently on his “Madness Fall Tour” with Travis Scott, Banks, and Halsey.
