In the wake of the Nice attack that took 84 lives in Southern France on Thursday (Jul. 14), Rihanna has canceled her “ANTI World Tour” concert in the city’s Allianz Stadium.
“Due to the tragic events in #Nice, my concert scheduled for tomorrow July 15 at Allianz Stadium will not be going ahead as planned,” she wrote. “Our thoughts are with the victims and their families.”
Big Sean, who is supporting RiRi on the tour’s European leg, also wrote a heartfelt note following the tragedy. “Prayers up for the whole world right now, love is needed now more than ever. We in this together,” he said.
The New York Times reports that 84 people died and 202 were injured in what has been called a terrorist attack on a Bastille Day celebration in Nice.
