Listen to Bryson Tiller on WunTayk Timmy's 'Cake'

  /  03.28.2017

Bryson Tiller is hungry for that “funnel.” Nearly two years removed from his breakout debut Trapsoul, Pen Affleck joins fellow Louisville slugger WunTayk Timmy on “Cake.”

Pen Griffey opens the track by comparing it to a modern Darth Vader “theme song.” Later, he boasts about his cash, his individuality, and his independence.

“I made a lotta money when I started being true to myself,” brags Tiller. “A ni**a couldn’t make me me I had to do it myself / So that’s why I hate when I ni**a tell me they could use my help.”

Meanwhile, Timmy goes for the “Cake” too, showing his own hunger on the NES-produced track. “I really can’t take no breaks,” he raps. “Young WunTayk gon’ take off.”

In January, the “Cash Prince” announced his sophomore album True to Self, the follow-up to Trapsoul. “im working on this album called True to Self, non-stop until it’s finished,” he tweeted. “then it’s yours.”

The project is expected to arrive sometime this year.
